Microsoft Windows do have customisation for stylus but I can't tell you the customisation possible because I don't have any Windows tablet currently to test. Most apps don't actually allow you to customise the shortcuts for the buttons. Sometimes the same button can function as an eyedropper, a right click or eraser or something else. What shortcuts you can get will depend on the apps you use. There are two side buttons for shortcuts. It has a nice weight to it and is comfortable to hold. If you're on Windows and using MPP then you don't need (or have) any Wacom drivers, but you might want to uninstall the HP pen software if it's present.
The Wacom drivers often conflict with the native Windows settings. If you're on Windows and using Wacom AES, I recommend uninstalling the Wacom drivers and letting the default Windows drivers control the pen.
The back button is a Bluetooth button but the side buttons do not require Bluetooth.
